Each guide is certified in first aid, CPR, and avalanche training, and has also been certified by the National Park Service.

Mark Holden

Having lived in Illinois, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, the move to Wyoming in 2006 was a big change. Being office manager for the tour office in 2006 and then guiding tours of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks during this past summer and winter, I am excited about being a snowmobile guide. I enjoy hiking the many trails in Greater Yellowstone Region and learning about the wildlife, fauna and geology of the area. I will also be doing cross country ski guiding at Turpin Meadow Ranch. I look forward to being your guide as you experience the features that made me fall in love with Wyoming.

I first came to the Jackson Hole area in the Spring of 2005 and knew that this was the place for me. Whether it's touring Yellowstone and all of its incredible features or on the Continental Divide and all its beauty, there is no place I'd rather be!

I moved to Wyoming in the spring of 2007 with my wife and my two kids. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of the East Coast has always been a dream and now living here in Wyoming has been a blessing. At the ranch, I serve as Head of Maintenance, one of the hunting guides, and this winter I'll be a snowmobile mechanic and guide.

After being drafted in the army and serving in Alaska, I attended and graduated from the Culinary Arts Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. I moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to ski while building a home in Buffalo Valley. I have served as chef at various lodges and restaurants in the Jackson Hole area. At Turpin Meadow Ranch, I have enjoyed working as chef, in maintenance, and as a snowmobile guide.
